After a year of waiting (from the day I booked the tickets), finally the day has come for me to travel to one of the best destinations in the world! I was thrilled to see the country again and eager to visit the most talked about theme parks for the young ones and for the young at heart! I was even more excited because I was bringing with me my precious family - Hubby, 2 kids (Macey and Micko), Mother and Mother-in-law.
So we woke up very early in the morning since our flight was scheduled at 6:00 AM. Yes, as early as 3:00 AM! I was worried at first that Hubby and I might have to deal with our kids tantrums at the airport. But gladly, they were both calm and behaved. It seemed they understood that we will all be travelling! hahaha! Our parents were both cooperative as well! Thank God! :)

We arrived in Hongkong just in time and went straight ahead to one of the food shoppes inside the airport to eat our breakfast. Then, we we're picked up by a van with the help of my workmate who happened to know someone that regularly picks-up tourists from Philippines particularly in our company. The pick-up van cost HKD 350.00 (Airport to Nathan Road Mongkok). Quite pricey right? Not at all for us since we were bringing with us our kids, our Moms and our luggage and bags.
We settled for 2 hours at our apartment and right after, we rushed to see one of the finest attractions in Hongkong. We didn't mind walking at long distance because we were flabbergasted by the beauty of the place.
Wow! VICTORIA PEAK was Amazingly magnificent!! We almost ran out of words! From The Peak Tram, the Peak Tower, to Madame Tussaud to Sky Terrace 428. It was indeed a breathtaking place! Truly the country was a total package! And Yes, we felt we're on top of the world!

And that ended our first day in Hongkong! It was a bit tiring but I enjoyed every moment spending it with my family... Guess I'll have to get ready for our 2nd day! Wohooooo!!! :)
